Lovely bar man James, the pub was a bit quiet when we went (January) but hope it does well. Timothy Taylor’s and Guinness very tasty
Lovely place, recently updated and a very welcoming place for an out of towner, prices are far better than where I came from (Essex) when ever I'm in Truro this is where I'd come to have a cheeky drink. 10/10
The Britannia Inn Truro is a very cozy pub that serves traditional English meals alongside drinks. It is located just at the beginning of the city centre. Though it is a small pub, you'd feel the warmth. Very accommodating staff and ensures a great experience for their customers. You can dine in, take away or request a delivery.
Best roast in Truro . Great staff . All ways happy to have a chat and got batnz. Great Guinness as well . And chess and darts . Just a great pub . Great out side garden aswell.
Small and cozy and filled with Darts trophies won by the publican. He chatted with us amicably before we took our leave after a pint. Friendly man.
Recently reopened with a complete makeover. It has 2 bars of which the lounge has a lovely fire to sit around. The public bar has sports TVs with plenty of seating and large bar with a great selection of alcohol. Unfortunately it's real ale is limited to St Austell Proper Job and Tribute but hopefully they'll get another in to give the punter a better choice.
Well worth a visit and makes a change from the other pubs in Truro.
Had a fantastic lunch yesterday, it's the little touches like children's cutlery and nothing to much trouble. Toilets (I have a thing about toilets)!! Spotless. The whole place was to be honest. The beer garden is a show of colours looking beautiful. It's well worth a visit. Thank you very much guys.
Paid for a meal to be delivered to our mum for mothers day as we live a couple of hours away and can't get down to see her. Great service, she loved the food and the flowers they put in for her. They have gone above and beyond and really made her day. Will definitely use them again and highly reccomend
