The food looks great and it's tasty. The queue outside was not too bad considering it was lunchtime on a Friday when we went. The ladies serving customers are polite, quick and friendly. I would definitely go back again.

I’ve been going here for years and their standards never drop. The place always looks clean (a biggie for me) and the couple who run it are so lovely and inviting. They take the time to know their regular customers. Today was red pea soup day (Wednesday!) and the wife knew what I had come in for ????
I can’t recommend this place enough. Their dumplings are perfection, their fried chicken my gosh! Amazing…. All the meals I’ve had have NEVER disappointed me. Like I said their standards have never dropped over all the years.
My grandma lives in Yorkshire and I brought her Hardough bread from here once. Now this is the only place she lets me buy it from when I visit her.
Taste and see their food is good!

It is by far the best food I've ever had in London. The prawn are absolutely delicious!
I ate here for the first time in 2018 then returned to my country but could never forget this tasty meal. Now in 2023 I'm in London again and I'm so happy to get the chance to enjoy this again.
Also, you have to try the bread, it's so good!

It was my first time in this shop.I was recommended by a good friend of my mind. When I was in the shop there was only one lady serving. I was very disappointed because as was waiting to be served, I noticed that the manager Served someone blatantly behind me knowing that I was next in the line and not even an apology.The man placed the money on the counter and still there was not an apology from either of them.
For this reason, I'll have to think twice about going back. (All I'm saying is think about your customers first, then friends ) On a good note, the food was not bad.
Randomly walked into this one, highly recommend.
Such a shame I have to give this restaurant 3 stars because the food has always been tasty. However, today I purchased a small oxtail with rice and peas and was very disappointed. The portion was small with a lot of bones in the container and very little oxtail meat. For the price of £7 I expect to have at least some meat in the container to enjoy my meal.
This is not the first time I’ve had very small portions from this shop. Would love to continue to support, so please give your customers portion sizes they pay for.
