A very unassuming but genuinely lovely pub. The food was delicious for the price paid, I didn't have a dessert as the starter and main were sufficient but my son's berry crumble looked (and apparently tasted) very good.
Great pub..Great food...always stop for a drink or two after a long walk..and Milo loves it by the fire.

Good food and drink - menu is very much a classic pub grub style, but you can't argue with the quality and quantity for the price.
Has an open fire which is amazing. So nice to sit and relax near it.
I don't know what happened when we ate here today, but we had the worst food we've ever eaten at a pub/ restaurant. We came for food because the reviews were excellent. How could we have been fed such poor quality food for those prices?? Seriously, we could not be more disappointed.
Great location, proper pub with home cooked food at a reasonable price.
Had Chorros with chocolate sauce and Ice cream! Very Nice, tea and a coffee.
