Had a great 3 nights here and loved its cosiness and quirkiness. The hosts were very accommodating. If we ever get back to that area we will definitely stay there again.

Super friendly landlord and landlady and a comfy popular pub just outside Forgue. If I was local it would be a certain regular.

Out of date & out of touch. No WIFI, No TV in room, No food at the time i stayed didn't know any of this till i arrived.

The staff were fantastic but cant cover over the cracks, paying £100+ for this is a kick in the teeth.

Went for a family meal out.

We were put in the main hall with only one electric heater on. it was extremely cold and we had two Pensioners with us so we put one more heater on only for the bar man to come through and switch it off clearly not caring about how cold it was, We were all wearing coats it was so cold, food was very poor quality. we were served out of date soft drinks that were flat. The food was served all over the place and very slow.

Simple, friendly little coffee shop run in a country pub bar where coffee and a cake leaves change from fiver.

Been here a few times now it's quite cheap to stay overnight. The food is great and has a bar for drinks. It's a bit out the way so nice and quiet. Rooms are OK for the price

We called in on the way back from a dog walk. It was late on the opening day which had been busy so the choice was a bit limited.

Nice to see a new dog friendly cafe, vegan friendly as well.

Very humble and homely place with amazing staff. The manager / cook treated us with such kindness and does everything in his power to make your stay as pleaserable as possible.
