Incredible place, stunning view and great food. A must visit for anyone around the area.
We love this place! The food quality is exceptional ????, the staff are super friendly & knowledgeable & very dog friendly. We sat outside last night & as soon as the waitress noticed the dogs she brought a bowl of water over for them. There are plenty of vegetarian choices on the menu & the food is very fresh. We can't wait to come back soon! Thank you for a lovely evening.
Read old as in 3 years ago review that outside needed cleaning still very true I thought they had maybe only just taken it over but please go buy a brush and clean up.
Had Sunday dinner it was acceptable as in just warm on a cold day sat under the pub and the cauliflower cheese was sloppy.
It could be a fantastic place if it was cleaned up.
Excellent Riverside pub. All staff are very friendly..... Nice change these days! There was a live singer on a Sunday afternoon and that just added to the atmosphere. Very dog friendly, as soon as they seen you had a dog the waitress brought over a bowl of water. Food was excellent. Good all round place to be.
This was my first visit to the Boathouse, and I was so impressed! It was a beautiful day, and sunny, so we sat overlooking the river ???? Stunning views! The food was also outstanding ???? We will definitely visit if we are in the area again ????
A very pleasant pub with a lovely atmosphere and nice views over the river. The service was great and the food was delighted with a nice menu choice. There was also a pianist playing live which added to the ambience. It's ashame that the exterior and interior decor let it down. It's like an upscale service, sitting inside a downscale shell. We actually drive straight past it initially until someone happened to say the food was nice there.
An excellent place to visit with nice views. The food was extremely nice and not over priced and the staff are pleasant too.
We would gladly visit there again...
It's not from The Boathouse pub , is from my neighbour. We live by the river close to the boathouse . This part is scottish Burns Night..
