Fantastic food which we felt was well prepared and presented and good value. Pleasant staff who are chatty and helpful. Would recommend.
Having walked round Swadlincote town centre for the first time in 15 years, this is possibly the nicest place to visit for a spot of lunch in the centre of Swad.
This is a lovely little cafe with polite staff and lovely cake. However, I was very disappointed when paying my bill as I had asked for a two shot latte (as a latte should be, otherwise it is just warm milk) and was charged £3 for the extra shot alone which was more than disappointing. Sadly, as a consequence, I will not return to this cafe as a result. ????
UPDATE!....I went back in today 8/11/23 to discuss the £6 coffee and was given a full apology and offered my money back or a coffee whilst there. Just need to get them to warm the cup for the coffee as a little tepid. ???????? I know! But I love a lovely strong, hot coffee. ????
So disappointed in afternoon tea for Mother’s Day 60 pound for 3 people looked like 20 pounds worth Cheapist ham brought in quich and shop brought saus rolls really disappointed in the cheapest it’s cost to make and how much it cost to buy

6 of us had afternoon tea for a birthday treat. The staff are so lovely and friendly. Nothing too much trouble. Nice and spacious inside (we expected it to be smaller so don't be fooled from outside).
We had the vintage afternoon tea which was a really good price and all the items were fresh and tasty.
6 happy full tummies. ????
A lovely vintage afternoon tea with tasty, crustless sandwiches, little cakes to die for, all topped off with a scrumptious trifle.
The service from happy, friendly staff and a bottomless tea pot made our visit thoroughly enjoyable.
Wonderful food at Wonderful prices and all served by really friendly and helpful ladies. Mum and I now go in every time we go shopping. Best place in swad.
