Ordered large cod and chips, was ready to go. Service pleasent and prompt. Fish succulent and chips were the best we have had for a very long time. Well done.
blue chip part cook there chips and put them in a washing up bowl... and then recook them when needed.... i am a professional fryer with 15 years experience of fresh cooked food who wanted to help them out... but they told me they had a weeks training...... they wanted part cooked and that's all... even tried telling me of with 15 years experience that they new better.... how gross is that... there are 3 takeaway places near Callington that delivery that are way better... Lanson Kebab House is the best around... if blue chip had a proper fryer?.. they would do better..... i see that there The blue chip junior in Launceston has closed down already... i did tell them....but they didn't listen......shame.....
Good crispy chips, the haddock was battered well and a fair size. Hadn't had curry sauce for a while so picked some up and was tasty
Great fish and chips. All cooked to order
Usually really good food but when we bought food Saturday night it was awful. They didn't give us our full order, the fish was flat cold and greasy like it had been sat under the hotplate for awhile, only received one portion of chips, curry sauce was bland and had a old look about it, and my son's chicken nuggets were stone cold. Really disappointed and shall not be going back.
Amazing chips, just the right amount of crispiness. Kids loved the sausage and fish too. Mushy peas were a really decent portion. Fed 3 of us for £15 ????
Lovely little chippy. It isn't cheap, but realistically no good quality fish and chip shop is now. The food is well cooked and tastes fantastic.
First time going back after a long time due to the food going downhill but I have to say this time fish and chips was very good no complaints at all and will definitely go again hopefully things have improved
