Love the new owners they have made a fab difference. In such a short time. You can tell they are totally dedicated to making the pub in to somewhere that the locals and anyone passing by wants to go to. Also introducing food soon

Not the best choice for real ale, pedigree and bass but, very well kept and probably the best pork and stuffing cob I've had for a long while. Great local pub.
A proper "local" pub. Nice people, good beer (and other drinks!) and a lovely atmosphere. Thank goodness there are still some pubs like this left. A haven from the daily grind and a great place to meet friends old and new.
Just to put the record straight, I am a regular and can tell you that The Blue Bell does NOT serve food, it does NOT have accommodation and it DOES have a pool table. The clientele tends to be older so there is very rarely any "trouble" if at all. The atmosphere is friendly and well behaved children (and dogs!) are welcomed.
There is a selection of well kept cask beers, Pedigree being the main one, as well as good quality lagers, ciders, wines and soft drinks at reasonable prices.
The pub also has teams in the local Darts & Domino League (Mondays), Quiz League (Tuesdays) and Pool League (Wednesdays).
A lovely pub with a local feel even if you're not a regular. Lovely couple who run it too, never any trouble!
Sandra and Neil go the extra mile to make us feel welcome. The meals are superb, and nothing is too much trouble for them. This extends to cooking for our young grandchildren and making them feel special. This pub is a home from home! Thanks Sandra and Neil.
Friendly staff, pool table, lovely warm fire. Great stop off on the way back from town for a drink.
