Had a cracking family meal with friends. Prices were decent and so were the portions. Defo worth a shot as a wee local family (Y)

Waited almost an hour for food each order brought at different times which meant we didn't eat together as a family and when the desserts were brought they were cold...the soup was nice..Apparently they didn't expect the place to be so busy???...and I think they were one short...Maybe we were unlucky but I wouldn't recommend it nor would I go back..very disappointed especially as it was recommended ????..????????????
We took party of 9 for a Sunday lunch to celebrate a family birthday. Excellent, family run restaurant. Intimate and friendly. Very wide choice menu with generous portions. Owner and staff spoil you but leave you to enjoy meal in your own company. All 3 generations of our family thoroughly enjoyed this experience, but I would also imagine its perfect for a couple to enjoy a quiet meal together.
Had a gender reveal get together for my daughter here, everything was fine until bar staff refused to serve anymore drinks. Saying there was too many people in. I would have thought they were happy with the chance to make good money as it is a quiet pub most of the time. Upon speaking with the bar staff and manager I was met with an absolute obnoxious conversation with the manager confronting my pregnant daughter, I would not recommend this pub for any functions as it seems they are not in frame of mind to listen to the customer. A very disappointing experience .
