These guys are amazing! Keep getting into chats about various TV shows with the owner and couple of his staff. Great great team working there! Prices are great too!!
Whilst I have visited this Chip shop on a few occasions and have held it in high regard, I must admit that my most recent visit left me feeling a tad unsettled. The Food was fine and it is decently priced, so credit where it is due, however I might suggest that it is somewhat impolite to glare at a customer unblinkingly as they try to decide their order and query on a food allergy, it made me feel pretty uncomfortable and I nearly decided not to bother ordering at all. It's a pity really as I really value a comfortable atmosphere and I didn't find it here sadly this time. Just my honest perspective.
My husband called in tonight and it's The worse chips I've had. We couldn't feed our kids this so went elsewhere. Never again some of them are hard and the grease ????????all gone in the bin didn't waste my fuel going back to take them back because I didn't want anymore after this. It's put me off
Called in on my way home, and very disappointed. Got a jumbo sausage and chips, smallest portion of chips I've ever seen, wouldn't feed a child. And I had to warm them up when I got home, which was only a couple of minutes journey.
To top it off, I was given incorrect change, which was rectified. Unfortunately, this chip shop is nothing like it used to be. I know the cost of everything has gone up, but when other shops are providing better for less, I will not be returning.
I have always had excellent service and excellent food from here, cannot fault it!

Hands down the best fish and chip shop I’ve been to in my life. We’ve just devoured a cod and chips and a rissole and chips and we ate every last morsel!
Decent food,inexpensive and good sized portions.
Great having such a good chippy in the area.. very good menu with lots of choice.. reasonable prices too.. thumbs up...
