Friendly staff and fresh food best chippy by far highly recommend
I visited the village in May of this year, we always rent a cottage from Mr and Mrs Jelly on the farm and I must have gone in the shop several times during our visit. I was always greeted by friendly people and the proprietor is a good man who was always giving great service.

Superb sized helping of fish and chips. The fish was cooked to order, so fresh and very hot. One of the best fish and chip lunches I've had in a long while. As my son lives in Long Buckby we'll certainly visit again.
Fish and chips always well cooked and such quick service. I like that owners are only accepting cash to try and keep it in circulation.
Lovely quality of fish which was freshly cooked with a perfect layer of batter. Chips were delicious and even though they had been wrapped to get home were not soggy. They even wrapped the fish and the chips separately so they did not stick together on the way home. The owners are friendly and chatty so it's always lovely to pop in.
Always a treat when I go to the Fryer! Generous portions of food and really friendly staff! Would highly recommend.
