So after reading the comments I wasn't at all optimistic especially regarding customer service. However I found staff to be very polite & courteous which in my opinion is always a plus. Now moving onto the food, chips were slightly overdone for my liking (but that's just my preference). The burger was quite small and did have a bit of a after taste which maybe the oil. Overall decent place to grab a bite to eat.
Bought chicken and chips. Chicken was smelly and overcooked. Refried chips were as bad.
Staff kept talking to each other for 5 minutes before taking my order, then continued for another 5 before preparing the food.
Don't bother.
I have bought a large chicken wrap. Only good thing about the wrap was its portion. Other than that, it was so salty and I felt like I was chewing cardboard that was left in the rain. I definitely regret paying £10 for such a bad tasting food. I will never go there for food again and do not recommend to anyone.
Went to 'The Best Kebab' after a Gig at the Barbican ... The food was good and the service was quick ... It's probably the only Kebab shop in the area ? ... Took the takeaway back to Hotel for a late night feast ????
Update: In one word the falafel wrap is exceptional and the kebab made me weak at the knees. Phenomenal establishment, well priced and tasy af. 10 on 10.
Very solid kebab. Great service. Comeptivie price compared to other's nearby. Worth a visit. Mixed kebab also v nice.
Everytime when I visit London, the best kebab in oldstreet is the place one of the reason why I go to London. Best kebab in the world. All homemade,people are friendly.
Food was great.
The people working there made some slightly homophobic remarks and they were subtly picking on us (we were three visibly queer people). I would never go again.
It was quite crowded when I passed by, so I expected the kababs to be good. They weren't and they gave my wife and I an upset stomach the next morning.
