Very nice Sunday roast and pudding.
Was busy but didn't have to wait as the staff were brilliant.
Food and drink was very nice,will definitely be going back.
Lovely carvery, plenty of food to choose from, all beautifully cooked. Puddings were lovely as well. Lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff.

The Beresford has recently reopened. The new owners are extremely welcoming and helpful. Traditional pub menu and the food was really nice. The decor is traditional and they do have a log fireplace. Also this pub is dog friendly. Which is good for us in the future.
Please visit this pub and enjoy the atmosphere and welcome. Jamie you were a great host ????!
Visited for a mother's day meal as a table of 8. Carvery food was luke warm at best so was very disappointed with the food.
One of our party hadn't even finished their main course when we were asked what desert we wanted. After ordering desert, we were then told by another member of staff "I don't know if you were told when you arrived but we require your table at 2.30pm for another booking". Our booking was for 1pm and once we had ordered carvery at the bar, we were told that we would be called up when it's our turn. I appreciate it would be busier due to being mother's day but it seems they had taken on more bookings than they could cater for which isn't our problem.
Certainly won't be returning.
Had a family get together for lunch last week. Because of our different tastes we between us sampled a good selection of the lunchtime menu.
The food was of excellent quality and quantity, and served by the very attentive staff.
Will definitely return to try the evening menu at some point.
Amazing carvery all done fresh, lovely meat lovely proper roast potatoes.
Staff are friendly and can’t do enough for you, especially ana.
Why cook at home when you can eat like this.

Had the carvery on Sunday, lovely meal, well cooked and plenty of choice, we were well looked after by the staff, who were all very good. Couldn't fault it, definitely deserves 5 stars, thank you for a very pleasant afternoon and a great roast dinner.
Had Sunday carvery with family yesterday. 14 of us. It was lovely. Food, atmosphere and the staff were great. Really enjoyed. Well done. Will be back next time we visit family
