WOWOWOOW! Superb food, superb owner, superb location, superb atmosphere! We went there to grab a quick dinner but ended up spending 2 hours chatting with Melanie (owner). Incredible person she is - and what passion for vegan food! A lot of the food on the menu was fresh and cooked - like the slaw, all veggies (surprised to know that she buys all fresh and not the frozen ones!!). Definitely worth a visit even if you are not vegan but want to have delicious food.
Went to visit on Sunday morning with a couple of friends. One of them, she is full vegan and the other, she just dabbles. I just had cake (see pics) but they both had roasts which they both said were excellent. Both the owner and staff were really lovely people and made us feel very welcome. Would I recommend, yes, absolutely.
What a fantastic place to eat the most delicious vegan food. Very kind and knowledgeable staff who make sure you have a tasty meal. Both the drink and food menu are really varied and well thought out. There are regular specials and tapas ideas to pick from.
Portion sizes are good and the meals are skillfully cooked and prepared. We have been a few times recently and will definitely be making it one of our regular places to visit. The decor is well designed and feels cosy and welcoming. There is a fair sized inside area with tables and chairs and a covered area outside with benches.

Visited here twice while on the island, everything is vegan, of course, but I had to get the bay classic again because it was the best cooked breakfast I've had when eating out. The garlic mushrooms are such a good addition. I also got the ploughman's lunch with a steakless pasty for my dinner to go. The staff were so friendly and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. I hope to return in the future.

Delicious vegan soups, tapas, and coffee. Everything I’ve had here has been delicious and I’m excited to try more. Accommodating service and laid back atmosphere make you feel welcome and at home!
Just stopped in for lunch and had their Moving Mountains burgers and dirty/loaded fries and. Ploughman’s. All delightful. Bit of an issue with the order - something forgotten - but quickly rectified. Really tasty and lots of varied vegan options.
You know when you've fallen in love; that feeling of sheer joy that draws a big smile across your face... I had that at The Bay.
This is a wonderfully female-led business in a cosy space - wood paneling lines the walls and floors like a log cabin with flourishes of subtle colour from the lighting, wall décor and food displayed in glass cabinets.
Stepping into the rustic setting, you're immediately greeted by a staff member who'll gladly assign you to a table - reservations are possible but wasn't necessary on the wintery afternoon I was there. Staff are friendly and show a keen interest to meet your dietary needs and avoid allergies.
There were many options in the way of food, but because it just so happened to be a Sunday, I had to have the Sunday roast experience. And I can tell you it's the best I've had by miles - not only is everything vegan but the very generous proportions are likely to have you downgrade from a 3-course to a 2-course meal - and such a shame because I would've been so pleased to test out the dessert!
The soup of the day was tomato, wonderfully blended with the right amount of thickness, accompanied by a couple of bread options. The roast itself has a few options of its own including the roulade and tart - both were very well received with crispy pastry surrounding the tasty filling. Lots of roasted vegetables are included and with variety too. But my favourite bit: the gravy was astounding. I think gravies can make or break a roast but they've absolutely cracked it with the consistency and savoury/umami flavours!
I made a special order for a Lotus Biscoff shake which they fulfilled but I think it could've been thicker - maybe go for another option if you're getting a drink.
Overall, a fantastic food experience and the best on the isle in my humble opinion, all at a reasonable price. Highly recommended!
The food is absolutely delicious, great staff and lovely chilled atmosphere.
