I never leave reviews but want to get this place on the map - holy absolute heck. the BEST cheesecake I’ve ever had in my life, no joke. the burger was delightful, flavorful and juicy. fries were good fries. friendly + helpful staff. went back for more cheesecake in the morning but I bought the last piece the night before haha (good camp spot too!), so had carrots cake and another pastry and another WOW!! go for it, also check out the Inverewe Garden while you’re up there!
Perfect flavour combination with the succulent lamb rump, pomme puree(mash), red cabbage and delicate kale!! Outstanding food and other half had a perfectly cooked, moist chicken supreme with saag aloo. Great value for money along with the pint of local IPA and glass of Malbec. Very friendly staff, even though they'd had a busy day. The only slight thing was, we were sat in the first room, on our own, so didn't get the sea views, so would recommend booking a table in the second room. Absolute treat and will be back! Many thanks

It's wonderful to have such an amazing cafe/restauraunt/take away as part of a campsite. Let alone a site in the North West Highlands.
We had some lovely takeaway food from the Shepherd's Hut on our first night. Fish and chips and scampi and chips were some of the best we've had.
On our last morning we went for a breakfast which was nothing short of amazing. Fantastic and friendly service. Great views. Tasty food.
Maybe book ahead for an evening meal during peak season.

Beautiful! Not long waiting time for food, and waiters/waitresses were very kind. Although, I went there for breakfast today, (I had poached eggs and toast) the eggs were quite vinegar-y.
Visited the Barn Cafe again during my stay at Sands Campsite and had some great food with prompt, polite and helpful service.
Highly recommended the Vegetarian Breakfast and the Vegan Highland Melt.
Takeaways are also available and even stock Peroni 0%.
Great when you have had a busy day outdoors and can't be bothered to cook!
Good food, warm friendly staff and reasonably priced.
Excellent wine and whisky.
We have had Take out, lunch and dinner here and not one bad meal.
