A lovely family run coffee shop/ bakery. The toasted sandwiches are lovely with plenty of choice and they are happy to accommodate substitutions. Good choice of sweet treats for after also with cakes, brownies, pastries & cookies

£8 for a club sandwich and the bread was stale and inedible. The filling was nice so why ruin it with out of date bread!
I bought a fresh “sourdough” loaf from here, it looks beautiful, instagram-worthy, and it’s been a decent loaf. However, I really don’t think it’s sourdough. It doesn’t taste or look like sourdough and it toasts well (notoriously difficult with real sourdough).
Other than that it seems like a nice little cafe, I’d just be careful ordering a sandwich!
Very Disappointed £14.50 and long wait for 2 Sandwiches is bad enough, but to find it made with stale unedible bread . The box it came in was more appetising. Sorry hate leaving negative reviews .... **Following reply from the owner - If you consider bread that resembles inch thick dry Madeira cake that drops to bits as soon as you touch it as Fresh then maybe youre in the wrong business. Believe it or not , Ive had a few sandwiches in my time - yours was the worst ever and went in the bin . It did come in a lovely box though ! Keep Smiling :)
I ordered the Reese’s Pieces Chocolate cake and an oat milk flat white and I’m so glad I stopped by here! The cake was delicious, not too sweet and moist chocolate sponge. It was a big piece and I was full half way so have saved it for later! Coffee was perfect too - still creamy and strong coffee which is just how I like it!
The actual place itself had parking, it’s really nicely decorated and it’s cosy, early lunchtime and it was busy and people were queuing for the melts to take out…had to stop myself from ordering one! Next time for sure!
Staff were very friendly and I didn’t have to wait long at all!
Will definitely be visiting again soon!
Ps. Love the take out cup design!
Lovely food and lovely staff. Was lovely inside albeit a little bit chilly, but once I got a good cuppa it wasn't an issue. Glad to have a good local cafe!
