Love this bakery. Especially their bread and in particular the cholla. Their cheesecake is superb and their big cookies are to die for. The smartie one is the kids favourite. Their soup is also amazingly good.
Is good value for money and the staff is absolutley lovely.
Popped in to see what tickled my taste buds! I came out with a lovely ginger bread man and a mince pie. Both delicious not overly sweet. Would definitely without a doubt return to try something else. Highly recommend to support local bakeries and small businesses in general. They are the bread and butter of our economy ????
You will not taste better mince pies than the ones you’ll get here. So delicious. Well worth buying at any time of year, not just Christmas.
I love this place. It’s such an understated gem of a bakery. Sure, not everything is fancy, but it’s all made fresh and with a great deal of passion; it’s not pumped with preservatives and the usual rubbish you find in other bakeries.
These positive reviews must be fake because me and my family of 7 each ordered a different cake and each and everyone was dry and tasteless they was genuinely revolting
I want to know who didn't give a five star review, give me this individual's name and address so I can personally tar and feather them. The cheesecake, priced at £2.50 a slab took me back to my childhood in Germany, so much that my girlfriend went back and polished off their stock because she could see how nostalgic an experience it had been for me. The Portuguese tart was PERFECT, elsewhere I've found it to be far too sweet (sickly, even).
Service was courteous and had such a lovely local vibe to it, the man behind the counter took time to talk us through the selection... everyone that came through the doors while we were there seemed to know exactly what they wanted and approached procurement with confidence. EVERYONE seemed to be crazy about this place, would recommend.
I love the vegan rolls here. They are amazing and so filling. Also the Apple turnover is a firm favourite. Friendly, polite and helpful staff who always warm the food for you if needed. Prices are so reasonable. I like the decor; it’s from yesteryear, frozen in time.
I was always seeing its cheesecakes and assuming it's so delicious. It was awful. No taste of cheese in that cheesecake, just strong smell of milk fat and egg. Terrible
