Stopped at The Bakehouse for a wrapped sandwich for a walk. Got a great vibe walking in, and owners were very friendly. Had a Ploughmans sandwich -but without the meat. Delicious!

Absolutely delicious quiche, salads, pies, chorizo turnover , sausage rolls. We took a whole bag full of food away it was amazing and the ladies serving were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back for more l!
Stumbled upon a treasure of a place this afternoon where the owners were practicing pizza making. We were fortunate enough to sample a free garlic pizza bread which was superb. Will definitely return!!!

Gorgeous food, tasty and plentiful. Lovely friendly ladies working too who were very kind to my children.
Called last week when in Bradwell we had been before and remembered how good value the cobs were so we only bought one between us. They cut the cob in half and wrapped each in separate foil. It was roast pork stuffing apple sauce. They were so tasty and very filling with a pkt of crisps. Excellent value. Will call next time in the village.
Great selection of freshly made sandwiches, cakes and pies. The servings were full and tasty. I was in the area for a week and went everyday, even took some pies home with me.
If you are passing through or heading for a walk in the peak district pop in and get a packed lunch. 100% recommend.
Our lunch and cakes didn't stay around long enough to take a photo! The peach cake in particular was standout! Great quality sandwiches and really delicious cakes and sweets. A must if you are in the peak District and looking for a lunch to take with you on a walk or to refuel.
