It's hard to believe that anyone would choose to go to macdonalds with this place two minutes round the corner.
The quality of the food is what makes it, real wholesome p food and not a load of processed rubbish.
I had poached eggs on seeded bread with a pot of tea for less than the price of 1.5 bigmacs. 5*
They maybe just need a sign on the actual building to know which one it is when you enter by car
A lovely cafe that actually knows how to make the perfect latte without the 3 feet of froth on top that you get everywhere else. Very impressed???????? Nice friendly service, thank you ????
We've been regularly frequenting this lovely cafe for 2 years now and we always enjoyed the breakfasts we had. The service is always warm and welcoming and the portions are generous. The only change I'd request would be to cook the bacon and sausages on order rather than pre-cooking them then heating up. Last 3 times the bacon was terribly dry and tough, the sausages were rubbery. Keeping the cooked food in bain maries is practical and makes sense when there is only one person in the kitchen but they seem to effect the final product. I would personally be happy to wait for a freshly cooked food anyway. Otherwise 5 out of 5.
Quality food and coffee, lovely cakes. Staff seemed very busy with the bakery and not so much on serving customers. It was tricky to get someone's attention. Very warm in summer: could do with air-con, or at least a fan.

Excellent quality produce, and service, at a reasonable price.
Just on the edge of Uttoxeter, welcoming and pleasant staff. The food is excellent and there is a proper butchers shop too.
Ramp leading to the door. Light, Well Lit, Spacious and Airy. Wooden Seating for 26 people, on 2 or 4 seater tables. A simple breakfast menu and 'homemade' cake selection. Thick Toast. Good sized portions. Great Tea and Coffee. Separate Toilets for Men, Women and Disabled. I'd definitely be visiting again soon. Highly Recommended.
