From my experience getting to see a Doctor is very difficult. Reception seems to have instructions not to make face to face appointment. So you get a Doctor call back or referred to St Mary's Hospitals Walk in Clinic, waiting time up to 2 hours.
Preventive medicine not requiring a doctor in my opinion is good and so are the nurses doing it.
Always fit us in for an appointment, granted it may only be a telephone appointment, but these are the times we live in, however most times, especially with the kids, it's face to face. Miles better than my previous surgery ( PD group)
Hands-down the most incompetent and disconnected surgery I have ever been to. The way that reception staff conduct themselves is both rude and unprofessional, with staff making you feel as though you're an inconvenience to their DOCTORS SURGERY. Both the emotional and physical pain and stress caused by this place is staggering. I could not recommend highly enough to stay well clear of The Baffins Surgery. Unless you enjoy being lead on a wild goose chase or being told that it's (your) the patients fault that the surgery or employees haven't got their finger out their arse to do their job and sort the prescription. Madness.
Been a patient at this surgery for just over 20 years now, the doctors (especially Dr Crisp) are excellent and I have never had a problem with the reception staff. It can take a while to get through on the phone first thing in the morning, but I find using their online service to book a phone appointment a lot more convenient if I don't actually have to see a doctor in person (although I do miss the personal touch of an in person appointment). The surgery is modern and clean and I find the staff friendly.
Poor. Lack of duty of care to my elderly father. Told him to call 111 when 111 told him it was them he had to deal with and they had to check him over. Receptionist thinks she is a qualified dr too. Poor poor poor. Should be closed down as it’s a waste of NHS funding
Unfortunately I have had a hard time getting the help needed in regards to the health issues I'm going through at the moment. One doctor was incredibly rude to me over the phone and as he'd been the doctor that ordered blood tests I was surprised to find I had to chase up what the results meant. The results were very important as they showed how I'll I was. On another occasion I was told I had vertigo several times but it was a veritable artery dissection and was in hospital. The nurses and other staff are amazing and so is Dr Mendoza who always explains things to me and for them I give 5 stars.
I changed from a doctors surgery just over a year ago to this one as my husband is also a patient here!
Since becoming a patient here I have had nothing but great treatment from all at this surgery. Everyone is fantastic and willing to listen to me and accept that I know my condition (it is a rare disease! ) as I live with it since 2013 and am continuously researching it!
They are all so very thoughtful kind and totally willing to help in any way they can!
I actually have never felt more in control of my Disease and able to live with it much easier than the previous 6years from Diagnoses in 2013 before moving to this surgery!
I rate this surgery highly and am now feeling much more of a human being than a problem!
Thankuou all!
I for One am a very happy patient!
I was seen by Dr Alam and he was brilliant (and on time)!
