Best KPortal Reviews

After the second visit the food is exceptional as the first visit. The food produce is of really good quality and the presentation is executed well. The team have certainly put thought into their dishes and it really does not disappoint.
We didn't book however, staff accommodated us for which we were very grateful for. Service was really good, I couldn't fault the standard of service. Engaging at the relevant times to make sure everything was good with the meals and drinks never ran out.
I would most certainly recommend a visit.
I would recommend to book in advance.
What a great place the food and staff are amazing, we’ve been a few times now for Family meals.
We are always greeted by staff as soon as we walk in nothing is too much trouble and the food is absolutely amazing.
Tables are all spread out nicely so you’re not crammed in.
Service is good not rushed to eat up and get out nice and relaxed atmosphere very reasonable priced too
Booked a meal here for 20 friends,to celebrate our colleague leaving his job. The service we received was truly exceptional all meals came out at the same time. All our meals were hot fresh and enjoyed by us all. In my opinion the anchor burger is the best burger I've had. Would like to say a big thankyou to the waiting staff for looking after us especially when we got a little loud towards the end of the night. We will be back.
Visited for a carvery and left absolutely STUFFED!
The carvery was great quality and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The restaurant is well decorated and a pleasant environment, the place was also packed. They are clearly popular!
I would highly recommend this place for the carvery.
We have been here twice now and both times thoroughly enjoyed the carvery .|This really is a good old fashioned pub carvery everything so fresh and flavourful . When I say old fashioned I meant that there is so many pub chain carveries about and is rare to have a good old fashioned non chain pub carvery.|All staff were very friendly and helpful.|Highly recommend this place
Had a roast meal, beef, cold and tough, roast potatoes had been reheated at least twice, so too hard to eat, vegetables, cooked to extinction, soft slimy. The desert was supposed to be a biscoff cheese cake, it was a mousse. I could not eat the food total waste of money. On the plus side the service was friendly and professional
Good food and environment. Only issue is sticky tables which I know is from the anti bac but a little off putting. Some training needed with some front of house staff to anticipate what customers might need but will definitely go back as it's a central location and the food is generally good.
5 of us had dinner there this evening 11/02. Food was excellent and the service was pleasant and very attentive. Will definately visit again and happy to recommend.
