Went here today for Sunday roast it was delicious, couldn't eat all so Donna gave us a container to take the rest home. Would highly recommend, lovely staff friendly atmosphere, will be going again next week xxx
Not bad
Good honest, clean traditional pub.
I would love to travel the 18,206km to visit this great little pub, only because it is located in two different countries. There so few of these public "line houses"" in the world, most notably Hotel Arbez that straddles the Franco-Swiss border, but there are so many of us Grenzologists or Border Line Lovers that travel long distances just to see places like this. but only if there are clear boundaries marked on the ground and or walls. I Hope you have the Cymru-England national border clearly marked inside and out ? It would be a major selling point for a lot of people from outside the UK. At the very least put a Cymru flag and an English (St George) flag up, side by side outside the pub on either side of the national border !
Nice pub, and a easy location to get to, and friendly staff, and a family garden, and also a separate room with a pool table. The English and Welsh border runs straight through this pub, so a pub in two different countries, and If my memory serves correctly, I think that the pool table is on the English side, and the main bar is on the Welsh side, so not many pubs like this one. :) :) :)
Luv this pub my mum and dad ran this pub twice for many years alot of our friends drink here have been and had party's here and food always been great x
Great pub good friendly customer service great priced drinks for a local best pub to drink in in saltney even do Sunday dinners at a fair price if you order it by 12pm Saturday and do local delivery in a small area around saltney lache at no extra cost
