The best Indian restaurant in Harpenden I've eaten here many times! The service is great the owner and restaurant waiters are so observant of ones needs they aim to please and provide an impeccable service. Great food tastes explode in ones mouth and the presentation are truly awesome. Look at my photos need I say more. Pricing wise I would say expect to spend around £70 with food and drinks (alcoholic) for two people. It's worth it! Lovely people lovely place go eat some good Indian food! Fyi if you don't want your dishes too oily just tell your waiter they will reduce the oil content it's not a big deal to them. Yes the noise level can be high but if you want a quiet place go eat at a small restaurant!
First time visiting this restaurant in April 2024, invited by friends and very impressed. Proudly Bangladeshi, with its name commemorating the country’s declaration of independence from Pakistan.
The decor is vibrant, as are the colours and flavours of the food. Excellent service and a nice atmosphere. Highly recommended and will definitely return.
This Indian restaurant is definitely worth a try. The food was lovely and the staff are friendly and attentive. Last time we went they popped some dry ice on the table. This was a fun experience. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for a lovely evening.
Best Indian in Harpenden. Regularly book this restaurant for our theatre company socials and will continue to do so. We usually come in a horde of 20-30 and we always have an incredible time, service does not drop even for a group of this size. Food is on point and always looking forward to trying the next dish. Lovely atmosphere, always glad to be there.
Booked this for a date night with my hubby. We had driven past a few times so was excited to try the food. We were seated very quickly and asked if we would like a drink shortly after. We ordered food that is not our usual choice as everything sounded delicious. It did not disappoint, everything was very tasty and my husband even said it was the best Indian he had ever eaten. It was also extremely good value for money. I will definitely be back and will recommend to all my friends.
Saw this restaurant on instagram and had to book for an Iftar night with my friends. Our food came out as soon as we opened our fast (anazing timing). The waiters were very considerate and attentive.
Food was delicious and HALAL!! We loved the decor- took some lovely pictures there.
Overall a great experience. Would revisit and recommend others to go too!!!

I’ve also ordered delivery and It has been a very good experience. The food arrived hot and well packaged in a beautiful bag with the restaurant name ????.

Food and service was very slow. This was in part due to two large bookings that the restaurant placed us between, which also meant the noise levels were incredibly high. It would have been better if we had been seated elsewhere where we would have enjoyed our meal a bit more peacefully.
We did ask a table of men behind us if they wouldn’t mind being a little quieter and then they quickly became quite aggressive towards us, which completely ruined the end of the meal. Restaurant staff didn’t seem bothered about this and no one came to help us.
So overall not great food, poor service and a loud, unpleasant atmosphere. Can’t see that we’ll be returning anytime soon.
