Again, you saved me. ????????????????Thank you very much Martin for giving me the confidence to resolve the suspected injector faults, whilst I was 400 miles away, in France, on my Renault Master van. You were correct in remotely diagnosing the high pressure hose that had come loose, hence the loud “POP and Whooshing sounds “ and loss of power. The French Renault Garage wanted 7 days to rectify this. I think the cost would have been massive. I reconnected the hose and drove, a further 900 miles, on full power like a bat out of France. Just need to reset the alarm being displayed on the dashboard. I’m still motoring.????????????????????????????????
I understand this dealership has been operating for 40 years, however I can't say my recent experience was a positive one. Having seen a car I was very interested in, I contacted TMC via an online contact form. They duly telephoned me back and left me a voicemail, however when I tried to call them back, mid morning, there was no voicemail and no answer from their telephone line on a number of occasions. When I did eventually get to speak to the owner, he would not accommodate my eminently reasonable request for a weekend viewing in Thanet - I suggested various possibilities - I could not get time off work to go down to Thanet during the week. The owner then claimed that he would give first refusal to whomever was the first person to express an interest in the vehicle - and although this happened to be me, he sold it to another person. I suppose at least he had the good courtesy to email and let me know it had sold, however, apart from this the communication was very poor.
If you live locally to Thanet and have plenty of spare time to keep telephoning, maybe they will be OK, however if, like most people, you work for a living and have limited availability, don't count on this company to do what they say.
