Great fuel stop. Usually the cheapest around and the hoses are long enough to reach both sides of the car
Really poor set up for entrance and exit really needs to have a better set up especially during busy times
Lovely staff. The area is clean and easy to access, there aren't usually long ques as there are 8 pumps. The car wash always seems to be empty so there's no que for that either. The small shop sells basic necessities, usually for a higher price than other shops.
Currently the cheapest fuel locally. Staff are always friendly and the small shop stocks a few items that you might need when the main shops are closed
Good for a bit of Easter Humour.
There was no indication that it was closed on Easter Sunday.
Dozens of puzzled customers, including me, pulling in, putting fuel hose into car, nothing happening and then looking towards the shop and realising there were no lights on and shop closed.
Then putting hose back on pump and driving off, unfuelled, to make way for the next unsuspecting motorist to pull in and try his luck.
Would it have required too much effort to put a few cones across the entrance or a closed sign?
As I approached there were at least 3 or 4 other drivers trying to get fuel, and the same number as I drove off ????????????
Busy little garage but fast moving at the time. Only came for petrol, as this was the cheapest in the area. Forecourt clean and tidy as was the shop. Staff friendly and welcoming.
This petrol station despite being a texaco petrol station (which are usually a lot more expensive than say tesco or asda petrol stations) is actually the cheapest petrol station anywhere. Every time I go past it or visit here the fuel is a lot cheaper than anywhere else.
I was told because it is owned or operated by Booths supermarket that they sell the fuel at virtually cost price as it draws customers into the store and to the other businesses on site.
So when someone calls in for fuel they might decide to do some shopping and they then make profit than the 5p per litre they earn from fuel.
Many other supermarkets have tried to offer 5p or 10p off fuel if you spend £50 in store in the past but Booths appear to be offering at least 5p off a litre with the hope you will then do your shopping in their store after or time and time again
wonderful staff. very polite.efficient and nothing too much trouble. coffee machine great and lots of offers on and reduced items to be found. toilet is also a bonus when your bursting for a no 2
