I thought the bloke behind the counter was having a bad day so I excused the abruptness. However, a second visit confirmed that he is the most miserable man I have ever met.
Please go in there with a cheery smile and say "Hello, nice day, lovely weather, you keeping well?
The reaction is like you've just vomited into his face.
I wouldn't mind, but you need a remortgage to pay the exhorbitant prices.
Don't try the coffee without putting a crash helmet on your digestive system. Bitter pond water.
Proper miserable git works here. Try smiling for once
In a previous review I mentioned that the Costa Coffee cup advertising was slap bang in the line of sight when leaving the garage. Well done to the management who listened to customer concerns and have now moved the large cup to a safer location. Thank you.
Recently… I was unable to send an Evri parcel because there was no paper in the printer and not due in for a day or so! In a rural area this meant I had to make a round trip and travel miles to another drop-off point. Again this has been resolved and the labels are now back and working in the machine!
Fuel prices a year ago were comparatively reasonable to other petrol stations, but they have now lost their competitive edge.
The shop is useful with basics such as milk, eggs, bread etc and a good range of magazines and newspapers. It is a drop-off for Evri which works very well, and has started with UPS.
The forecourt is often a chaotic free for all with no clear entrance and exit leading to confused situations, delays and occasional arguments. The fuel is outrageously expensive and the most expensive in the area. Another local business that ramps up their prices during the tourist season which is not only unfair to locals but exploits visitors to the area. The staff here are all really lovely though the other factors mentioned here undermine their efforts .
Useful Texaco fuel station on the A40. Lots of pumps and a large open forecourt so useful if you have a large vehicle or are towing.good sizebshop selling every thing you might need including hot food and Costa Coffee
Great service station friendly sells lpg and heating oil and petrol diesel and snack foods ie baguettes sandwiches all fresh mini shop takes 50 pound notes not like my local shop cost cutter or costs more as I call them .
All ways open even on sundays
Got petrol friendly service
Customer service was terrible today. I understand that people get busy but there's no need to snap at a customer and aggressively tell them to wait and then argue the toss when i can see one already made
