Honest MOT station, yes my car failed, no they didn't try to fleece me. Genuine people, they explained in depth what had failed, why it failed and what it needed. They sorted out my brake light there and then, talked me through what it needed, let me mull it over, gave me a price for what they could price then and there and sent me texts when they found the other prices. Booked it in five days later. All repairs done and very satisfied.
This garage is by far the best that I have ever been to. Ian has cars at his heart and will take the time to explain any symptom or problem that may be encountered. In addition what I really like is that Ian has no problem with customers observing the MOT and is always ready and willing to answer questions.
Also today he helped me with a problem with my O2 sensors that was over and above the normal MOT.
Please support this local garage. Avoid the large car service chains and go to Tenterfields.
Honesty and trustworthiness are just some of the words that I would use.

I have got bad experience with different mot garages as they tried to cheat me but Tenterfield is very honest and professional. I highly recommend, you want be disappointed.
Ian is an honest man who does what he says he will do. For car repairs and MOTs I can not give a better recommendation than that.
Always thought Ian was ok, but he is actually a right nit picker, he failed my car on an indicator being the wrong shade, he could have easily just changed it for me.
Deceptively pleasant staff with a vast knowledge of anything automotive, as well as being very competitively priced, for a very professional service. I wouldn't go anywhere else!
