A really nice coffee horse house by the Lea river. Plenty of space and lots of benches to enjoy your drink and cake
I asked for gluten free cake and they offered an exquisite lemon drizzle.
Alternative milk on request. Very nice lady in charge.
Tea on the Lea is a an outdoor coffee shop by the Lea and next to a lake. Location is great and so is the service. Full range of coffee options plus milkshakes some soft drinks make for family friendly options. Their cakes deserve special mention, Good selection of generally delicious cakes with some vegan options a great treat after a walk along the river.
Worth searching this place out... We discovered it on Google search but it gave us slightly wonky directions on driving to it! Luckily we know the area and found it... It's become our new fave
A horsebox conversion situated on Tumbling Lake close to the weir near Ware it is a bit of a secret unless you are a walker or dog owner
It serves hot beverages... The coffee is great... And really good cake, tray bakes, muffins and other goodies
Lots of bench seating overlooking the most beautiful scenery
It can be got to either side of the canal as there is a bridge really close by.... It's a great little place... Sometimes we walk there but we even drive, park up and walk e love it here ❤️
There is a little bit of work going on in the area so it's slightly more muddy than normal
If you're a dog walker there's treats for your canine Inc puppoccinos and they have a doggy waste bin
Amazing coffee shop. Come here walking the dog very often and love their cakes and coffee, and service is always kind and quick. The view next to the picnic tables is also great, lovely place.????
Stopped here on our walk along the river Lea. We were served by a very friendly person and their family! The coffees and hot chocolates we ordered were of a high quality and the cakes on sale as well were amazing by CakeRebecca. The jammy dodger blondie was a particular highlight.
Loved the coffee unfortunately my cake was a little sweet for me but next time will have the fruit cake

Beautiful views of the lake and river. They make a lovely Chai Latte, and the cakes are tasty and fresh. If you have a dog, they will love the Puppachino!
