This place is a little polished gem in a good position in the heart of Ely.
The service is good, the bread and salad are fresh and the value is so superb that one Tuna roll could easily feed two.
If you are on a budget, enjoy good service and fresh, quality ingredients, then this is your place to go to in Ely.
Tea for two was excellent. It is no longer open as a cafe. Silver spoon coffee brought it and turned it into a bagel shop! Bloody expensive now, the locals now use Street cafe if they want a proper breakfast. Very sorry to see Nigel go.
Andy Curtis doesn't have a clue, he should stick with processed foods. My family have just had the best toasty and panini we have ever tasted, all cooked fresh and with real food. We even came back the next morning for there bacon sandwiches, everything is so fresh. The staff are great and always having a giggle with everyone.......if in Ely then visit.
My husband and I just stumbled upon this cute little restaurant and loved it! Had a couple of sandwiches, which were delicious! And their brownie was AMAZING! Definitely will be visiting again!
Best bacon sandwich in the world!! ... probably. Fresh hand-carved bread doorsteps, filled with best quality back bacon. As long as you're not vegan, what's not to like?
We love to sit outside and eat their food. Best baked potatoes in Ely! And they don't mind changing their menu about to accommodate my toddlers preferences.
Panini's are awful. Not cooked properly. Currently with a stomach upset.
But the bacon rolls are fine.
Toasted food is bad.
Lovely friendly staff and the food is fresh everyday and everything is to a high quality standard. Highly recommend.
