Took my wife's car here today for an issue with the gearbox. Expected to leave the car for maybe a couple of weeks as the owner had said previously he was so busy. Long story short, car fixed today! Amazing service, great price. Top man! Will definitely consult here again with car issues before going anywhere else.
Can’t thank the lads here enough, Lee done me a massive favour and got the car from me the car was practically a non runner, after having the car for just the day he came and picked me up in the car and let me know the issues at hand also advised me of work I might like to do in the future and that he would be more than happy to help with that if needed, he gave me a good price and great service and car is currently running better than ever, so thanks again guys
Paid £600 to have a gearbox repaired travelled 30 miles to have it breakdown again, called to try and resolve the issue and was told I’d get a call back but hasn’t been back In touch, vehicle now also needs a clutch that was perfect before having any work done. Would definitely avoid as he obviously had no idea what he’s doing
I can't believe how good Tayside Transmissions is. The past few months had car passed from pillar to post different prices and what not about fixing or repairing the gearbox.

My 6 speed Vauxhall (M32 box) developed the warning whine and also movement in the gear stick. I found Tayside Transmissions while looking for quotes, gave them a ring and was invited to drop by. Guy took the car for a spin, clearly knew what he was dealing with to the extent he keeps the bearings in stock. Booked it in. Repair was fast and a good price - 10/10 would recommend
Lee is a star, his knowledge of the problems with my gear box we're reassuring. My biggest concern, when putting my car in for major surgery is that fixing the problem might result in a change in how she feels or behaves. I need not have worried, my beast is back good as new.????????
Great job. Removed my Suzuki's gearbox, fixed it, replaced clutch, reattached everything and all for what I was quoted elsewhere to just fix a removed gearbox. Excellent service, many thanks.
Not a good experience at all, as the issue on my car wasn't fixed and now when I call they don't answer the phone. Poor service, best stay away and use someone else
