Had a really lovely meal at Tawa last night. The tapas size dishes were just enough and the food was delicious and the staff were lovely. It's a lovely cosy atmosphere, and the whole experience was just wonderful.
Great experience. Staff are helpful and extremely friendly. All our orders were very tasty and perfectly cooked. We loved the "tapas" way they serve the portions. Really nice decor too. The main thing I can say is we will definitely be back and I would highly recommend.
My wife and I passed this place a couple of weeks ago and both said we should give it a try. Reviews were positive so whilst I was away working my wife booked the restaurant for 4 people. We arrived on Saturday night and went in. 1st thoughts impressive decor but a bit dark. Anyway after ordering drinks and my in-laws arrived we ordered food. Going on the recommendation we were not disappointed. Food is out of this world and staff are very pleasant, helpfull, friendly and made us all feel very welcome. I 100% recommend this place as you will not be disappointed. Thank you to the staff for an amazing evening by driving our taste buds insane. Excellent dining experience and we will be back.
I got food poisoning here on 25.02.24 (Was the only cooked food I’d had all day and knew about it just an hour and half after dinner). It was the first Curry I’ve had from the place and I’ve just had a reunion with it unfortunately. Sorry to say this since the garlic bread we got last week was fantastic, but I’ll be staying well clear from now on.
Our host, Rimpa, was very friendly, ultra attentive, and exceptionally pleasant. Our service, throughout, was superb. The drinks were excellent, Kingfisher Lager, nice and cold. Food, well...we had eight different dishes between my Wife and I, smaller portions admittedly, although the menu card clearly states this IS the intention of this restaurant, price was perfectly acceptable at £80 for starters, mains (lots of), accompanying sundries, and wonderful on-the-house Birthday Dessert for myself. All-in-all an excellent dining experience, highly recommended and many thanks to Rimpa and the Chef(s) for a most enjoyable celebration meal????????????????
A regular of Himalayan Dine In Airdrie and after hearing great reviews decided to give it a try. What a huge disappointment. The restaurant is nicely done and the staff were friendly and welcoming but super slow. Waited 15 mins for 2 drinks, infact had finished the poppadoms and onions before the drinks even arrived. The food was not very good and we ate very little, it reminded me very much of the Asda meals for 2 curries. Not good at all and wouldn't go back unfortunately. If you're not a lover of frozen microwave curries then stay clear. What a shame as there is very few good eating places in the area
Great experience food was excellent smaller portions kind of Indian tapas but beware easy to over order delicious food also very nice atmosphere and decor service was spot on definitely recommend will be back
No complaints been on several occasions, Food and service always 1st class
The restaurant is beautiful and comfortable to relax and enjoy some proper homestyle cooked food and being a Tapas style on each occasion we go we try a 3rd dish that we have never tried before and we have never been disappointed
