2 days ago I complained that I got the wrong order, went in tonight and explained about the mix up. They apologised and gave me my order free of charge. The food is spot on and the service was excellent, would recommend you have a visit ????
Ordered through app, everything was fine and cleared, then cancelled 15mins later when everywhere else was shut.
Scammers, don't offer a service that people will pay for if you can't provide it.
Shambles.
The various dishes were lacking in flavour, all dishes tasted virtually the same and the person taking our takeaway order was unpleasant.
We ordered from here for the 1st time last night 1.3.24 both ended up with really bad tummy all night and today both had chicken dishes may be coincidence but strange both of us were poorly
1- cashier seemed annoyed we were there while taking our order. But no one was there? He was annoyed by the only customers in the building. 2- food was flavorless. I didn't know Indian food could be flavorless, but I assure you, taste of Bengal is the flavor of flour with a hint of coconut milk. 3- when we were finished eating, I tried to throw our trash in the dumpster outside.... Where one of the staff yelled at me for doing so. What? Did he just want me to leave it on the street outside of the restaurant? There were no bins inside.
Terrible in every measurable way. Unfriendly service for flavorless food.
The worst Indian food I've ever had. We ordered chicken korma and butter chicken. Could literally not tell a difference between the two in taste or appearance. They even had the audacity to write different names on each take away container. Both tasted like sugar and milk with a sprinkle of turmeric.
Absolutely dreadful. We ordered Lamb Tikka Masala and the lamb was so tough we couldn’t eat it and also tasted peculiar. We rang to complain but they only argued and told us we had chosen the tough lamb and that they are the best Indian in Harrogate. It states on their website that all food is freshly cooked and yet our order only took 15 minutes to arrive. The person we spoke to was rude and defensive and not prepared to do anything to remedy the situation. Complete waste of money! We will not be ordering again and will also be advising family and friends not to order either
Had 2 takeaways from here during a 4 night stay in the Harrogate area. First one was delivery and was a quick service - food was enjoyed by everyone in the group, it was freshly cooked, hot and delicious. Second was a collection and was equally as good. Thank you.
