Great coffee shop and breakfast spot. The barista is very knowledgeable about coffee, including American drip coffee. The service is fast, they have lots of indoor seating, and they allow dogs inside. No outdoor seating. The staff (and their patrons) are very friendly and local, and gave us great directions for around town.
It is a charming cafe, nicely decorated, and the owners and staff welcome you with a warm and friendly smile, and the service is prompt. The hot chocolate is the best I have ever tasted. Taste is my go-to cafe now. I would recommend it to anyone who is in Amesbury.
What a fantastic place!! Amazing food using local ingredients, really tasty - I had the breakfast toastie - utterly scrumptious. The coffee here is outstanding and the owners Matt and Paul are brilliant. If you want a friendly, relaxed and really delicious moment in your day, then go to Taste in Amesbury. Oh and you can taste their home baked cakes before you buy. The ginger and lemon cake is out of this world (it’s actually impossible to choose a favourite - they really are all delicious.)
My favourite place to visit when in Amesbury ! The best hot chocolate I've ever tasted . Paul and Matt the owners are the nicest friendliest guys warm and welcoming .too .I took my partner in for a Birthday breakfast he's now hooked absolutely delicious ! I can't wait to revisit .Penny and Len .

Stopped for lunch & a coffee on way back to London. Lovely cafe, nicely decorated, great friendly service. I had scrambled eggs & salmon & my mum had scrambled eggs with beans tomatoes & spinach which was all mixed together, will steal that idea for breakfast, delicious. Highly recommended.

Popped into Amesbury this morning. A Beautiful sunny morning. I went into Taste to buy some more Carrot cake.I had bought some on the past.It was just as delicious as last time so moist &tasty.Lovely cream cheese topping too..I also had the bonus of some small taster chunks of chocolate brownie cake to try.Very yummy too.Keep up the good work. I will be back soon. Your Ginger &Lemon cake is yummy too!????
