We bought some bits here during the Christmas street fayre.
Hot sausage roll (plain), hot sausage roll -cranberry and stuffing. Carrot cake and coffee cake.
All delicious, especially the sausage rolls, they were HUGE!
Staff really polite too.
Highly recommended, pop in, you won't regret it!
Simon's mince pies will not let you down! His cakes are delicious and in general things are nice and buttery but not as sugary as the supermarket fare. Well worth a visit!
As a regular visitor to Long Melford to do recreations at Kentwell Hall, Tanswell's is often first port of call for me in sourcing a few creature comforts for a weekend's camping (coffee, croissants, sausage rolls, pastries) had a cake made once and it was first class.
The most delicious cakes, sausage rolls, bread etc I have ever tasted. Can not fault one thing about this bakery! The service, food, price.. EVERYTHING is spot on. 100% would recommend.
Tasty sausage rolls, mini cakes were very moist and flavoursome accomanpnied by excellent customer service. Sadly I am only visiting the area but if I lived locally I would be purchasing every day.
The whole experience is so good it might be criminal, the bread is amazing and I actually like the white bread (unlike the tasteless fair you might get from a supermarket), try it, you will be delighted
A great place to stop for coffee, tea and hot chocolate with one or two of the varieties of cake on sale at this bakery. Lovely bread rolls and loaves and friendly service.
