My friend and I have now eaten at Tamarin Bay Coffee House a few times and love it. This coffee shop is new to Ely and is a very welcome addition to the high street. It’s been beautifully decorated inside and thoughtfully laid out. I’m also a fan of the window benches where you can eat and watch the world go by. The food has always been delicious, freshly prepared and the menu choice varied. The Pastel de Nata was probably one of the best I’ve ever tasted (may of eaten a few) and the Toffee Apple French Toast was sublime. My friend has also eaten the smashed avocado with poached eggs on toast (didn’t get a photo ????????♀️) and devoured it! The coffee is good coffee too! The service is super friendly and I can’t recommend this gorgeous cafe enough. When in Ely, I urge you to visit! ????
Popped in today for a quick coffee, which was delicious. The staff were super friendly, chatty and professional, offering brilliant service throughout. The food looked incredible so we'll definitely be returning. It's nice to have another option in Ely, and this lovely place seemed to have popped up out of nowhere! Can't wait to try the menu! We had some brownies to takeaway which we'll enjoy later tonight!

Lovely dog friendly cafe in the center of town. Tasty coffee with freshly prepared foods. Only issue I had was the bagel itself. It was dense and cold. I little heat through it or perhaps a seeded type would have made all the difference. I will try the fish finger sandwich next time.
Lovely coffee shop! Coffee is sour will be nice to have a different coffee taste than the regular you find everywhere (SOUR taste). The croissants was from yesterday, but I'm glad that at least they haven't waisted it.
But overall is an amazing place ✨️
A great new addition to Ely. While this review is being posted in their first week of opening, I have visited twice, once for a take away coffee and once for Saturday brunch. I think the food and coffee is great and fairly priced. Nice owners, nice vibes. They are finding their feet for sure (so be patient) but I think this will be an Ely icon in no time at all.
What a treat to have such a delightful coffee house with not only a yummy selection of coffees, they have some delicious matcha (the peach was incredible) and herbal teas. The food menu changes often which is nice, as I find so many places in Ely are chains with the same Menus throughout the year. The space is small but nicely arranged and always busy and for me, those moaning about the lack of seating, my suggestion is get there early! Popular places stay busy. It's clearly a good sign.
Looking forward to what Summer delights they bring to the table. Keep it up guys, love it.
Really lovely little cafe, I've been several times. The owners are friendly. The food is upscaled brunch type items, things like mushrooms on toast, but really nice mushrooms with chilli oil and dukka spice. The pancakes are really good and they cycle through a few different types. Dog friendly, which I like (I don't have a dog, I just like to say hello) but worth being aware if that's not your thing. It's small enough that it gets busy on weekends so choose your time to go.
I come to Ely to see my barber and this cafe is only a few doors down. I decided to go in today for the first time to see what it’s like. I had a sticky jam brioche breakfast thing with a slice of carrot cake. Service was great, bubbly environment and the food was really really nice. Considering they’ve only been open for 4 months they seemed to hit every nail on the head. I will definitely be popping in every time I go for a haircut now :)
