There were 4 staff members I seen and yet got tea fast to then receiving a warm dried up egg was like rubber blackpudding very dry bacon near perfect beans and mushrooms were fine also three times had to ask where was the toast which I finally got when I'd finished the rest. Definitely need to train staff better
Stopped in for some bacon rolls whilst getting fuel. I noticed just after paying that I had been charged more than the displayed price for them. l told the server and after briefly checking the till she told me “Sorry, that’s the price” with a couldn’t care less attitude. Didn’t have the time or energy for an argument with her so just left it at that.
Was told that they don’t do takeaway tea either and you have to go back next door to the fuel station for this.
Poor attitude of the staff member with even poorer understanding of consumer protection rights means that I won’t visit again.
We had the prawn platter & chips, £12.70. Lovely food & reasonable. It was a prawn salad & some fruit, with 2 deep-fried prawns in breadcrumbs & a basket of chips. Good service. Big plateful, dad wasn't fit for ice-cream.
Staff are great food and portions for the price were shockingly bad tho especialy for such cheap to make things like macaroni and chips
Kids chicken nuggets were awful also
Wont be back to this one
Just short of £30 spent
A very dismal, bland restaurant. Went in for something as simple as a panini and asked for it to takeaway (baring in mind, a panini is basically a sandwich) to which we were told no as it's not on the takeaway menu. Absolutely no business sense whatsoever ever. It's not like the restaurant was heaving. Someone needs to take this place on and make it something wonderful. There is no competition and it could do really well. Unfortunately it's pretty poor!
Unbelievably unfriendly waitress who 2 hours before closing advised us to leave the place as she wanted to leave earlier. All that after 9 hours of driving with 2 children.
When we finally got here we headed to the restaurant, tired and hungry to be welcomed by such rude individual.
Moreover, to diminish despicable mood of the waitress we wanted to order take away. With attitude we were informed that there's not much to be order to take away.
So finally decided to eat in (still 2 hours to closing) as children were very hungry.
Menu does not inform about portion eg., sausages with chips from kids menu. How many sausages? I didn't dare to ask. But I did ask about the percentage of meat in mentioned sausages.
Shocking answer, 50% of meat in sausages served in kids menu.
Disgusting.
Also tables very dirty and meals served without any esthetic sense, and taste as they look.
We ended up somewhere else.
Always get a good meal at reasonable price Sunday roast is lovely.
Salads & sweet & sour chicken fillets delicious
We asked if we could have a panini for a take away and they said no because it wasn’t on the takeaway menu even though we said we could have brought our own plates as we were in a camper van
