Had a real treat at Tacochick today! Tucked away just off Cricklewood Broadway, in the Wickes car park I found a real foodie gem.
As I arrived the chef, Armz was already preparing a large order so I was told mine would take about 20 minutes - no problems as parking is easy and it was lovely day.
This was actually lucky as I had the pleasure of watching the chef skillfully prepare some amazing looking tacos. From pulling the beef, melting the cheese, to dipping the tacos in birria before crisping them on the griddle, I could see the care and attention he took at each stage.
All of this is would be meaningless if the flavours were not up to the same standard, but WOW, I was blown away.
Those authentic mexican spices and chillies they use provided me with rich delicious flavours that came in waves, crispy taco, juicly meat and tangy cheese, all brought together by an amazing spicy salsa sauce. I just closed my eyes and smiled to myself.
I'm so glad I didnt miss out on the jumbo wings too, which were so big & juicy and yet still very crunchy on the outside - and the sauces were unreal!
I can honestly say I'm addicted and already planning to go back (I'm so happy they're on UberEats and JustEat too for when I'm feeling lazy).
I'm hoping the standards remain this good because they've set the bar very high indeed.

Took the kids out the other day and tried the tacos and the wings. The food was unreal we all loved it!! 10/10 and a nice friendly service too so would highly recommend!! ????????
One of the best birrira tacos in the UK. Its the first place I drive to when coming on a 5hr road trip to London. Absolutely exceptional and the lemon pepper wings are to die for. Just needs to improve on updating google more often about closures and openings. I would call in advance before making a journey from experience.
Perfect Tacos, and splendid wings. The loaded fries also took it to another level.
A real taste of Mexican food and would highly recommend to anyone in the area, its even worth travelling for!

some of the most delicious food I’ve ever eaten, the tacos are so moreish and the wings are so crispy and flavoursome. The staff are so welcoming and friendly, would highly recommend checking this gem out for fresh halal Mexican food! I will definitely be back
Really good food! We had the tacos which were filled nicely and cruncy, and the nachos which were just as good! The service was quick and easy, would definitely recommend!
Most amazing tacos I’ve tried! Meat is well cooked and still very tender, unbelievably flavoursome and the staff are so lovely. Will be returning often. Highly recommend!
