Excellent local butchers, nothing is too much trouble. Their products are of a high quality, and believe me, they have a huge range to choose from.
Their steaks are second to none, in fact if you buy steaks from anywhere else, then they must be mistakes ! :) Staff are always pleasant and very helpful, if they don’t have it, or stock it? They will tell you who does!
Best butchers in the borders (in my humble opinion) 10/10
First tried one of their steak and haggis pies over at kielder in the shop at waterside. Bought another to take home as they are so good! Found ourselves at Newcastleton on the bikes and had to pop in. Don’t ever leave Newcastleton without trying one. They are delicious.
Just returned to wales after an amazing weekend at the red squirrel sanctuary at Jim’s and this wonderful butchers is the reason we fed so well!! For first timers we felt we should try anything we could.
From the quiches, pasties, haggis, black pudding and sausages…. Truly amazing produce!! I can’t wait to come back for more!! ????
Brought back sausages, black pudding and haggis (for others as I don’t like haggis) and each one said it was the best meat selection they’d tried in a very long time!!

We love the scotch pies which we buy going through Newcastleton and coming home back to Durham. Most amazing pies will be back Monday thank you so very much. Sorry no photos as we've eaten them.
Bought Lorne sausage, black pudding, and haggis from this butchers to bring back home after a few days at the Lidalia caravan site. Have to say everything is first class and so tasty. Service was excellent and would definitely buy from here again.
Excellent butchers a vast array of meats. I had 2 sirloin steaks and they were delicious. Unfortunately due to the road closures today I couldn't revisit to buy more but I will be back soon. Oh the sausage rolls are the best I've ever eaten ????. Fabulous staff and it's always a treat visiting this shop.
Great butcher shop and high quality meat and products! We also purchased a few steak pies that were fantastic. Highly recommended!
Stayed up at Kielder Landal Leisure and l purchased some of Elliots scotch pies at the shop there. My partner is Scottish and him and his son love scotch pies. We have just eaten them for lunch.Wow. They were amazing. We all agreed that they were the best that we had ever had. If Elliots dont offer a postal service they should consider it (we live in Yorkshire so cant easily access).
