Fantastic fresh breads. Cakes look amazing. Staff are always welcoming and really helpful. It's great having a bakery on your doorstep. Not many of these gems left. Give them your support.
Served completely burnt cobs. 4 whole bags all the same, had to go in the bin. The staff are very hit or miss. I was there just before Christmas and. Lady in the queue took Ill and only one member of staff helped her and they still had the audacity to ask for payment even though she was clearly ill. It was disturbing to witness and for that reason I won't be returning.
I only ever visit to purchase cobs, love the dark/burnt cobs, taste amazing and fresh. Staff and the atmosphere are great.
Top quality cherry bakewell's and egg custard's here. Would recommend.
Wow, my partner brought me a cream doughnut, honestly it was amazing we cannot wait to come back and try more and especially now reading the reviews about the bread ????????
EDIT: So I went and brought and tryed the bread and sausage roll, I'm lost for words, absolutely beautiful! ???? recommend staff are lovely and friendly too!!

The fruit bun (tastes like hot cross bun) filled with jam and what I call pretend cream is amazing........
Loved these for ages but haven't had one again till today.
Still bang on.....if you haven't tried their stuff , then you should.
They also make bread , cobs , cornish pasties , sausage rolls and other cakes.
So help keep small shops like this going or they will disappear off our high streets for good.
The bread and pastries from here are delicious!
Best bakery ever. Live in Wales now but always stock up whenever I'm back home! Malt crunch loaf is INCREDIBLE.
