A little home from home where food is made with love, whenever I visit my parents we always go here for breakfast, lunch, coffee or a smoothie, all of which are delicious! The food is always served hot and with a friendly smile, varied menu that the chef is always happy to amend. Food is hearty and fantastic value. Warming, inviting environment that makes you want to stay for that extra coffee
We have eaten here a few times before and it has always been nice food but Saturday experience was disappointing. I ordered Liver and Bacon which menu states comes with chips, peas, onions and gravy. But it arrived with mash which I don't mind, raw sliced carrots, onions which were chunks and raw, liver which when I cut into some was still pink / red, gravy and salad !! Gravy and salad ????.
I didn't make a fuss as I had my young Granddaughter with me and she would have got upset.
Also her breakfast came with toast but unfortunately the bread and not seen the toaster.
The thing that saved the day was the lovely front of house staff
Went here today after seeing good reviews but was disappointed. Asked for burger with no chips, which arrived with chips,I ordered english breakfast which took age's to arrived my partner had finished her burger before I got it, the egg was pale and looked poor quality, the tomato was cold as were the mushrooms, the so called toast was white with no browning to it and poorly buttered so tasted like eating stale bread,Wouldn't go again sadly
Absoultey lovely cafe. Staff are amazing. Smoothies are divine. I didn't finish my food and asked for some Tinfoil to wrap it and they gave me a takeaway box instead. Can't thank them enough. Highly recommend
Great coffee shop! Owners and staff are always helpful and friendly and coffee is great, especially mocha. Food is really nice too. The outdoor setting is perfect when weather is nice.
I went there for breakfast couple of weeks ago and it was worth trying it . I absolutely enjoyed it , very tasty food . Well priced , friendly atmosphere and very welcoming .I also bought some cakes to take away . Enjoyed everything and will come back again.
Clean tidy cafe. I did look for dirt. The chair elgs and skirting boards are. Spotless. A good sign. The food was unusually good quality. The type. Of level expected in a rstaraunt for 3x the price. I only had a desert but wow it was delicious. Fruity fresh and not too. Sweet. Staff took time to present it nicely on plate too. I was I formed apple crumble had apricot in it. It had lots other yummy stuff too like grilled almonds. I do wish I had not eaten at the fast food establishment with the golden arches before visiting this cafe. In future this will be my number 1 food stop when I visit Dereham. Great staff and food. Could not get a virgin mobile phone signal in there. WiFi of store was there but did not ask or see any password for customer access. Was not required. Did I mention how clean it was there?
I’ve been regular customer for over 2 years. The food has always been great. Lovely staff and nice atmosphere. Highly recommended.
