We always order the fresh cream cake for all birthdays in our family from here. It is always the highlight of our event. Yesterday was my daughter’s 1st birthday party and as always the cake was superb. All the guests enjoyed it and asked me where I got it from. Thank you for the most delicious and beautiful cake for my daughter special occasion.
DO NOT BUY from here! An absolute joke. I bought 6 balloons for a birthday and 5 deflated in just a few hours, didn’t even make it to the bday. I came back to tell them, but I wasn’t too welcomed and basically been spoken to like I was stupid and never had a helium balloon before. As soon as I mentioned “reviews”, they refunded a part of my expense. No apology, nothing. Think about it, 32£ for 6 balloons that don’t even last for 12 hours.

I went in to get some birthday candles and I asked if they sale plain cake boxes as well. Apparently they are not for sale and she had only big ones. Because I asked for a smaller one, she got me a pack left from Christmas and she changed me £15 for it and 2 numbers. When I wanted to return it after a very short time (not even one hour),she said that it’s not possible because of covid regulations when nowhere this rules are applying anymore.
I want to mention that I paid cash, so because I touched the pack(I have not opened it!) she was vulnerable to get covid from me but not from my money!!? ???????????? I asked her why she is not wearing a face mask if she is so afraid to catch covid and she said that she cannot because is to hot for her to wear it all the time.
She just refused to get me the money back with this stupid covid excuse which she will probably use for another few years!!!
????I am not going to step in that shop ever again!!!????
Very disappointing - buttercream had started splitting as though it had been in the fridge for a few days already before purchase & the cream was sweet but zero flavour (it was supposed to be chocolate flavoured). I don't think they use much chocolate, if any, maybe just a colouring & sugar. Also the cream tasted stale. The only good thing was the sponge that was soft in the middle but hard on the outside. I won't be buying here again.
This is easily the tastiest cake ive had. Bought a cake for the second time for my daughter's birthday, and again, it had a simple albeit beautiful and carefully made design. It was fresh, baked to perfection and not too sugary. I've had guests call to ask where this cake was made. Thank you for such a nice , simple and delicious cake. I will be ordering all cakes from here from now on.
please just talk to the older lady, make sure you explain exactly want you want, and shes more than happy to assist, my cake was exactly what I wanted, it went down well with all the guests, thanks to the her efforts
I ordered cake from US, through WhatsApp. They were very helpful for me through the cake ordering process By sharing different cake images and patiently clarifying my questions even during their non-work time. My family in UK loved the cake. We are very happy about Sweet Success Cakes and work absolutely place an order through them again. Very thankful for their help! ????
When i have oderd cake ita says fresh and they sand me frozen cake and message on it cut the cake after 1 hour.
My point is very simple if the cake was frozen youl can called us so i cud straight away cancel it and order it from somewhere else... Guys this is really not fair when ur menu says fresh cake..
