Wonderful service and amazing atmosphere. Such a beautiful cafe with a gorgeous menu and selection of cakes! I couldn't recommend more!
This pretty cafe was buzzing with life when I walked in on a Wednesday afternoon. Mouthwatering cakes and and sandwiches accompanied with friendly and helpful staff. Would recommend!
Visited Saturday 23/09/23 to meet up with some friends for lunch. Managed to get a table, really pretty little cafe, cosy seating. Decent menu, lovely friendly welcoming staff who genuinely appreciate your custom.
We had jacket potatoes and quiches.
Recommended and would return.

The cafe has a nice cosy feel to the place, well decorated and nice little touches dotted around.
The menu worked well with plenty to choose from plus they had loose tea (yeah), I had the pie and it's was really tasty and couldn't fault it. I have to mention the tea pot , what a nice change to get a pot for 2 and actually have enough in the pot for each of us.
What was nice for me was that the owner I assumed came over to a family who came in and brought a treat over for there little dog.
It looks like they've sourced out for local produce, nice service; nice food and we'll be back

Found this cafe on Google search and was impressed by reviews, so gave it a try on our way to Chard.
A I can say is the positive reviews are correct.
Lovely cafe with excellent choice of well prepared and quality dishes.
Coffee good also. Served by 2 lovely ladies who managed to set up a table for 4 even though most were reserved.
Quick note on that if you are planning to arrive around lunch time best to reserve as its very popular.

My girlfriend and I visited today after a wander into town from where we are staying and were very impressed! Everything is made to order and came out quickly, the sausage roll and cream tea were great! The staff were friendly and welcoming. I would recommend visiting here!
Lovely place! We stopped in Stur Newton on our way to a walk in the woods and had amazing veggie breakfasts and a very impressive chai latte! And also a slice of delicious coffee walnut cake ????
