So having been a regular visitor to Superfry i have grown increasingly disappointed with the food on offer. I ordered a large portion of chips which turned out to be half burnt and half ok, a large Cod (laughable) which was tasteless and greasy along with 2 plain sausages which after 1 bite went straight in the bin due to the flavour. I'm not saying avoid this chippy I'm just saying to the staff make your food tasty and flavoursome.
The last of couple of times we have been here the chips have been cold, awful, hard and not edible. Will give it one more go and if they are no better next time we will have to go elsewhere. Use to be good here, such a shame.
Fish and chips from here is first class just phone up put in your order pay cash.
We have always enjoyed our sausage and chips untill this evening sausage was black and dried out and 90 % of the chips were the ends and were dried and quite sharp to eat very disappointing Waste of money and had to buy another meal ????

Came here first time as visiting relatives, asked for a few things including 2 vegetable spring rolls and mushy peas. Wasn't made aware NOTHING on the menu wasn't vegetarian, not even the chips, which are made of potatoes, so we got back home with a cheese and onion pasty, to only find we were given curry sauce instead of mushy peas
Excellent Fish and Chip shop.
Food is always good quality and the portions are always on the large side.
Service is always good.
Prices are a little bit higher but well worth it.

Easily the best fish and chip shop in Beccles.
Lovely crispy batter, fish always tastes fresh and the chips are chunky and delicious. A true gem.
You can call to preorder ( saves a long wait, they do get busy).
Very small downside would be that they currently only accept cash and no cards
