Bought some baklava to take to a dinner party and they went down a treat! I have also had the freshly made gozleme (filled flatbread) which are delicious and the Turkish churro with Turkish tea. Staff are friendly and accommodating, will definitely be coming back again.
Big beautiful selection of fresh baked goods with an abundance of both sweet and savoury delights to choose from. The pastry chef was happy to explain what everything was. The Danish, especially, was excellent, with a perfect custardy filling to buttery pastry ratio.
The pastry was freshly bought two one feta spinach and one only feta. I was very disappointed to find out that there was not feta cheese inside but a white cheese not even close to feta. The cheese that was inside tasted like " anthotiro" a name of cream cheese that is not very expensive and completely different from the feta.
Visited this afternoon, great pastries and bakery but dishonest servers really disappointed.
I regret not calling them out but I had guests with me and didn't want to cause a scene.
Was charged £14 for a Turkish Tea, Macchiato coffee and one slice of borek.
Should have been around £8-9 max. Decent place but no need to try bump honest customers for the sake of £5.
Shame on you!
Simply a great little bakery in the middle of Dalston. The owner and chef were very welcoming and friendly. The coffee, baklava and pastries were super tasty and reasonably priced.
Wow! What a place!
Delicious bakery.
I truly recommend morello cherry. It’s so delicious.
The “churro” was very sweet.
The service is excellent!! They are so kind.
Great bakery , tried several of the menu items including the sausage pizza , meat bread and several other items and all were very tasty and priced reasonably ,There’s also a nice amount of seating in the bakery so you can eat in also. I paid several visits when staying in the area due to the great prices for really nice Home made Turkish bakery goods , great place for a lite bite.
My spinach and feta borech was pretty good, but the toilets were horrendous! Walking downstairs you pass plastic buckets on the steps to catch falling water, and when you reach the loos they're swathed in a red light with the litter bin overflowing. The worst part was the toilet itself, which had the lid removed meaning you had to reach inside to flush. The loo roll was against a crack in the wall. If this is what they let you see of the business, I don't want to know what the kitchen looks like. Won't be eating here again
