Fantastic Chinese food always fresh.it gets busy in summer so order early
Chose Sun house as it's close to Retallack Resort. Managed to get a parking space in market place opposite Co op as parking is difficult. They only accept cash but there is an ATM outside Co-op, The food we had was tasty and still hot on returning to Retallack. So all good.
At time of review Sun House has a 5 food hygiene rating which is very reassuring, when collecting my food I noticed the kitchen is on full display to customers which is again very reassuring they have nothing to hide. The food was piping hot and very tasty, also very good portions.
This place is absolutely vile! DONT ORDER FROM HERE! We ordered from here thinking it would be nice but we were wrong! The chicken was stretchy and hard to bite into. Although they were on time it was very overpriced ! The rice was dry and the egg fu yung was disgusting. Please don’t order from here
Quite literally the worst food that I’ve experienced in my life. Fried chicken? More like slimy snails. Bland and disgusting. The fried bread, my mistake “prawn toast” were asif they’d been in the bottom of the fryer since yesterday morning. Satay chicken? My dog has had better consistency in his wee. Absolute joke. The duck however, on the upper hand was plain and boring but somehow the best dish on my plate. I honestly wouldn’t buy this for a homeless man on the street as it’s not fair on them.
Absolutely awfull prices for what you get on your plate, £30 for a meal for two and not a lot at that, we phoned and complained because they even had the cheek to over charge us which they found quite amusing, how did a ladle of soup go up 70p overnight? Keep your money and go in the co op next door and buy fresh veg and meat and cook your own
Nice flavoursome food cooked in front of you. Good choice of menu.
We ordered tonight from sun house, and decided to try something different. Well the food arrived on time, extremely hot. And tasted amazing.
