A charming little place. you aren't exactly spoiled for choice in fueling Stations around here , nice to experience what it was like in the middle of last century.
Quaint little post office, shop and petrol station. The nearest to Acharacle I could find but a lovely scenic drive.
Beautiful little shop that brings you back to the olden days ..brilliant views over Loch Sunart
Limited things to buy, but, a God send as there isn't another Petrol Station for a long while from what I could tell. As always, prices for fuel are expensive, more so out here in the middle of nowhere.
I felt sorry for the gentalman working behind the counter, he seemed to have a sore leg or something, but had to work with the Pump machine, and two tills, as there wasn't enough change and they were located at opposite ends of the counter area. Might be an idea to move them to a central point, less running around.
But a nice place to refuel both vehicle and body.
Expensive for fuel but needs must sometimes
Best views whilst fueling up in the Highlands, also amazing general stores to get local produce.
Characterful wee store and Post office at the petrol station. Great facility. much preferred and will always be used instead of the larger unwelcoming store in the centre.
