The Coffee House is just what Strensall has been waiting for, for years. And now it's arrived it meets all expectations.
The staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. The coffee is great although I can only really speak for the Americano but I am sure the others are equally good.
And as for the cheese scone (pictured), a triumph of cheesiness but in all the right ways!
I've also had paninis, scrambled egg, sandwiches and my daughter enjoyed her burger. (Not all in the same visit! ????) All round excellent quality, great people and fantastic to have such a lovely venue on the doorstep.
Thoroughly recommend it. If I had one minor gripe, and I understand why this is the case due to the hotplate, but it's a shame there couldn't be a veggie breakfast option but the scrambled egg was absolutely delicious. A good scrambled egg is not always easy to achieve.
Oh yes, and don't forget your loyalty card. Get a free 10th coffee.

Xmas shopping done & this coffee shop open nice and early. Lovely establishment, nice selection of food on offer. Poached egg on toast for us. All eggs perfect cooked and accompanied by really good barista bean to cup coffee. Friendly staff & management….just how it should be and look forward to a return visit.
I love it here, lovely ambience, clean, bright and comfortable seating. Such friendly staff and wonderful atmosphere. Proper tea leaf Earl Grey too. We’ve needed a cafe in Strensall for a long time and we couldn’t have got a better one than this. Really pleased.
Delicious, fresh, homemade food and really nice milkshakes (with a great variety of flavour choices!) Quick, friendly service, lovely hot meals. I think we just got lucky it wasn't too busy when we were there, as can't see any reason it shouldn't be packed... Great value for money. Would definitely re-visit!
Called in for coffee and scone. Coffee was fantastic but the cheese scone was warm which we hadn’t asked for and it had been microwaved so stodgy and tasted very salty. Nice clean place with friendly staff.
I was out on a group bike ride with 9 others and we were struggling to find anywhere to sit down in the warm and have some food. Then we saw this place on Google maps. What a find! Such friendly service, they put table together very quickly to accommodate us. Food and drinks came out very quickly and it was high quality and very reasonable. I had cheeseburger and fries which was delicious. Highly recommended!!
My wife and I have been visiting here since it opened. It’s really super. The welcome is always genuine and your preferences are remembered, even if there’s been a gap in visiting. The food portions are generous, without being OTT. Everything is freshly cooked, all tastes catered for and the breakfast selection is what everyone could wish for. Do like the coffee. Highly recommended. Just what has been needed here.
What a brilliant place this! The village of Strensall has been crying out for a place like this. Amazing food and great coffee thrown in with excellent customer service and hospitality. The family that run this business are lovely people and good good people. Long live Strensall Coffee House and all in it!
Ps The chefs scrambled eggs and mushrooms are out of this world ????
