Lovely cafe, nice atmosphere, beautiful soup and sandwich and a scone with cream & jam to top it off ???? The sausage rolls are the best I've ever tasted! Even bought a few to take home. Lovely staff too which always makes a difference. Will definitely be visiting again.
Beware…. Sadly this cafe has changed hands, it no longer has the delicious food previously served.
Soup awful, scone awful, both left after a taste… unpleasant. Their latte now mostly froth, gone the lovely full coffee served by the previous owners.
So disappointing after many lovely lunches here. Will not be returning.
We've been to this lovely cafe set in a beautiful Victorian Railway Station that hasn't seen a train for more than sixty years lots of times. The staff are very friendly and accommodating and the food is delicious, well portioned and excellent value for money. Fantastic service and great, clean facilities. Had the Ploughman's platter fairly recently, a massive dish that can probably be shared by more than a couple of people. My wife had a burger in a bun, with chips and salad. Love the latte coffee and cakes too.
Wonderful home baking and great coffee. A lovely place to stop. Will definitely come back.
Great selection of cakes, good coffee and amazing location.
Popped in today for takeaway hot drinks. Staff were really friendly, our little dog was given a buscuit and I had the yummiest hot chocolate for our wet walk. We have recently moved nearby and look forward to popping in regularly!
Have wanted to come here for a while so as we were passing decided to stop in for tea and a scone. A beautiful, warm, sunshiny day worked perfectly with the old victorian station setting. We were entertained with live music from a very young guitar player while we waited. The staff were helpful and pointed out their Covid rules which seemed to cover all necessary areas. The scones were served warm which added to our enjoyment. The Station Cafe is wheelchair friendly from the adjoining car park and the tables are well spaced out. Well worth a visit
Lovely friendly atmosphere, light and airy café, with a good selection of delicious homemade food!
