Really pleased with my experience at this garage. First time using them, I had an issue with the ABS and DTC warning light which seemed to be a common fault on my car type. Two previous mechanics were not able to fix the problem. I went in and explained the issue and the guys knew the cause, confirmed the diagnosis and promptly fixed the issue at a very reasonable price. Also really friendly guys, can highly recommend!
I've used Station Garage for my MOT's and yearly services for a number of years.
Recently my car had a fault develop with my braking system, called up got a slot on the day within a few hours they had given me a few quotes and routes on rapier which i was more than happy with.
Great service quick response and turn around.
In one day out the other. Not had an issue since.
Absolute Rubbish Service. My car needed work on the engine for oil leak problem. Was greeted with all the old "yeah yeah mate we will have that done and your car will be like new." Having relieved me of £500 and no Receipt within a day the car was leaking oil again. Two more visits to them and being fobbed off in an aggressive manner decided to trade the car in to a main dealer and get a new one. Would not trust them to fix my push bike.
It's best not to go here. The people are nice but I'm not sure they know what they're doing. Very confused and it seems no one understands what's happening most of the time.Each time you go the charging system is different (sometimes paying by card includes VAT sometimes VAT is included regardless) I have taken 2 cars here and everytime my vehicle returns it has an issue they've caused whilst fixing the original problem. Twice I've taken it for MOT and twice it's come back with additional problems.
I have met most of the mechanics as I said they're nice men, treated respectfully (some people say they are racist or sexist but as a young black woman I have never faced discrimination from them that I'm aware of) but I don't think they know how to manage vehicles.
Not really pleased at the end. Car had an electrical fault. The mechanic ran a computer diagnostic that I was told upfront would cost £20 discounted price and took just over 10 minutes. He found that a lead was improperly fixed. He corrected in about five minutes. The owner told me that he would charge me 20 for diagnostics and 30 for work over 20 min. When I questioned his timing , he told me that the moment the diagnostic computer was plugged in the car it was 20 pound and any time thereafter is counted as work! Meaning that a customer owes additional money for the time technician takes reading the "discounted diagnostics". Clearly fraudulent double billing. I protested and in the end I paid £35 to a grumpy owner without any receipt. I went there because of someone's recommendation but now it seems my local mechanic is much better.
Very friendly, informative and reasonably priced compare to other qotues from elsewhere, every action taken I was given a call and explained the steps gave me 2 options for my car! I have definitely found my mechanic will be back again for sure the car drives even better than before I am. Really happy with my service Xxx
One of the most efficient garages I have been to. They are very thorough, knowledgeable, and friendly. You will not regret taking your car for servicing or anything to do with repairs or servicing.
Took my car as I had a fault with the gas pedal losing power. My break down guy told them what the problem was. It would need to be replace. It was just botched up job. According to them it just wanted cleaning, costing me £70:00 by the time I drove over the hill 2 mins away it stopped working. Don't waste your money. only took it there as my mechanic was on holiday.
