I'm no fish & chip connoisseur so take that as you will however I felt it could've tasted better and priced a little bit cheaper (£2.50 for a can of coke is a bit much). The fish was thin and fell apart too easily and the chips tasted like they were really well cooked bought in cheapish brand chips.
I will say the service was very good. Staff was very friendly and served me well.

Just ordered a cod and chips. Was really in the mood for this. Also some curry sauce on the side. I have to say that was the best fish and chips I've had in a long time, the curry sauce was out of this world! When foods that good a review should definitely be left! Thank you i will definitely be ordering again ????
Very slow service, waited 2 hours for the food and they blamed the delivery driver who overheard the conversation and told us he was waiting 40 minutes for our order. To be fair the food was nice but I don’t like being lied to.
Put in an order, told to collect in 20 mins. When I arrived 20 mins later I was waiting for over 10 mins, which I wouldn’t usually mind. But a guy who came in to the shop and put in an order for exactly the same meal got his order well before me!
Found this fish and chip shop while on a training fortnight in the area. Apparently it's under new management. Lovely food with very generous portions. Visited it 3 times in a week after I found it. Very friendly and helpful owners. Loved the scampi, cod and chips, and the chicken burger was better than McD's. If I lived in the area, it would my regular treat at least once a week. Wish we had a fish and chip shop as good as this in Reading.
Really nice fish and chips, not greasy like most places. Fairly new owners who are really friendly. If preferred you can eat in at minimal extra cost, so food is piping hot and straight out the fryer.
Really pleasantly surprised at how great this was! We ordered off Deliveroo, it turned up on time, hot and not greasy at all.
The curry sauce was epic, I could have eaten that with a spoon :) And the batter on the cod was delicious.
A lot of local fish and chip shops sadly are a let down but not this one. I would go as far as to say it’s the nicest chippy takeaway we’ve had.
Will be ordering again!
